Born and raised in Tampa, FL I spent most of my free time out on the water, soaking up the Florida sunshine, fishing with family and friends, and rowing for H.B. Plant High School. I left Tampa and headed to the University of Virginia for college as a recruited rowing athlete. Between practices, I studied Architecture and Fine Arts and made some life-long friends in my Chi Omega sisters. And I found the love of my life. During my time at UVA I had the amazing opportunity to study photojournalism in Tuscany. The warmth of the people and the flow their everyday lives continues to inspire my work.

After graduation I moved to Washington, D.C., where I enrolled at the Washington School of Photography to expand my creative style and technical skills in the studio and on location. I graduated as a Certified Professional Photographer and started my business a few months later photographing weddings, families, and engagements.
